Up for adoption

Kalie, a female mixed breed, hails from Cuba and was brought here by a Good Samaritan who tried but was unable to find her a home. She was a street dog and though she can be shy initially, she is also playful, loyal and affectionate. We're guessing that she has some Whippet or Greyhound in her mix as she is quite prey-driven. No cats or small dogs for her. She can be vocal, so no apartments or condos. During her veterinarian visit, Kalie tested positive for Enrichliosis, a tick-borne disease. She has no symptoms and the vet will decide her treatment. Kalie is looking forward to obedience classes with her future and forever family. If you're willing to commit and take a chance on Kalie, she's ready to take a chance on you.
