Up for adoption

Drake, a 10-month-old male Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix, is only 10 months old, but he's not for the faint-of-heart. He came to us in March, snapping, biting, barking and screeching – in other words, completely out of control. He had been bought from a commercial breeder by a family with no experience. His future was looking pretty grim. Drake has spent the shutdown period at École de Formation Intervenants canins du Québec and they have worked their magic. He is now ready to take the next step. That step must be with the right guardian. This person must be experienced and work with positive reinforcement. Drake needs daily exercise and everything he's learned has to be reinforced on a daily basis. He can be vocal, so no apartments or condos and children over 12 years old would be best. A well-balanced dog in the home would be great, but no cats please. If you have the dedication, commitment, affection and patience that this young man needs, fill out the form and ask for Drake.

For more information on Drake or any of the other dogs available for adoption, go to www.animatch.ca.
