Until August 28, a stretch of Boulevard Perrot between Grand Boulevard and Avenue du Parc in the Town of Île-Perrot will be closed to traffic between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays.

The roadwork is being conducted by Énergir Natural Gas. The detour path for motorists will change daily because different sections will be affected during the three weeks of the work.

The detour route for heavy vehicles will always be the same. Drivers of this type of vehicle will be directed to use Grand Boulevard, Boulevard Don-Quichotte and 24th Avenue.

Another traffic interruption will take place across the island in the Town of Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot. Work on Boulevard Perrot in the Anse au Sable sector will be carried out from Monday, August 10 to Friday, August 21 from the civic address 2699 to 2841 to carry out culvert replacement work.

Three culverts are to be replaced in the area and the contractor will only work on one culvert at a time. Thus, each morning of the work, the town will specify the exact address where Boulevard Perrot will be closed for the day.

Signage will be put in place to inform citizens of the planned closure and the detour path will be clearly identified.
