Legion members and friends are asked to contact the legion to arrange to bring birdseed in order to keep the feeders at the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence filled.

We received the first shipment of Legion anti-COVID-19 masks. They were all sold out but we can now order more if you wish. They are $10 each and they come in small 7” x 5”or large 7.5” x 5.5” sizes. If you wish to have one or more please advise us at rcl115@videotron.ca We will be making another order sometime early next week.

The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence has now reopened to patients after the forced closure by COVID-19. Patients have returned to the rooms.

This past week Hudson Legion Members Bill Louch and Gerry Foliot took on the task of cleaning and restoring all the birdfeeders outside the windows of the patients’ rooms.

We are once again asking Legion members and friends who are interested to please come forward and bring us birdseed in order to keep the feeders filled. As the Legion is still closed and the Palliative Care Residence is under strict rules, we are suggesting that the seed can be dropped of at Bill’s residence at 56 Oakland in Hudson or phone Gerry at (450) 458-4125, or Bill at (450) 202-2541 and we can arrange to have someone pick it up from you. Please do not leave it outside the Legion doors on the front stoop of the Community Centre, it too is closed. Thank you.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the recent of one of our dear members, Heather Doyle. She was a resident of the Manoir Cavagnal. The flag outside the Legion was at half mast in her memory for a few days. Our deepest condolences go out to her family.

Lest we forget…
