The alleged events took place between 1953 and 1982 when these men, members of a congregation, were responsible for the education and supervision of underage victims in various educational colleges in Quebec.
Several victims have been identified to date. The investigation continues.

Highway safety operation
On June 29 between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m., a dozen police officers from the Sûreté du Québec carried out a road safety operation aimed at countering two of the main causes of death on our roads – the use of a cell phone while driving and not wearing a seat belt. Police set up vantage points from a few areas along Highways 13, 20, and 40 in the Montreal, Vaudreuil-Dorion, and Île-Perrot regions. Nearly 40 statements of offense were given to the offenders.
The list of tickets issued included 29 regarding cell phone use and six for not wearing a seat belt.
