The owners of Hudson’s famed Finnegan’s Flea Market have announced they won’t be opening at all for the 2020 season. As reported in The Journal June 11, the Aird family had at the time opted to delay opening, at least for the month of June, in light of the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions.
The family announced yesterday that they had made the sad decision to remain closed of the entire season.
As they wrote on their Facebook page, “This decision has been weeks in the making, and was not taken lightly or without a lot of research. We look forward to the day when we can open our market safely again without excluding half our loyal vendors and clients, where we can enjoy a day out and be among friends. Thank you all for your understanding.”
