Up for adoption

Kayla had a good family, but circumstances brought on by these uncertain times forced them to find her a new home. This 1 ½ year-old female Labrador retriever has a wonderful personality, but bad knees. She will require Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy on both knees to repair torn ligaments. Kayla is now with a Foster Mom who is helping her lose weight before the surgery. The excess weight combined with an injury is probably the cause of the tears. Before thinking of adopting Kayla, you must be prepared to say no when her beautiful eyes beg for a cookie. Give her some attention instead. Kayla is counting on you to feed her healthy food in proper quantities and to see that she gets exercise every day. Kayla knows what it is to be loved and appreciated and is anxious to find her new forever home, even if the wait is a little long. She will be available for adoption after her surgery.
