Help for teens worried about COVID-19

Dear Editor,

Even for the toughest of us, listening to news accounts of the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19 is scary. One can only imagine the anxiety some lonely teens endure in addition to other problems associated to youth.

Help for teens is not far away. Kids Help Phone (Jeunesse, J'écoute) is an organization offering trustworthy information and mental health support.

Specializing in youth issues, Canada's only 24/7 national support service is completely confidential. They don't even want to know your name unless you want to give it.

Chat, phone, or text with real people who are there with no judgment – and, certainly, no cost .

For help in English or French, call: 1-800-668-6868 or Text 686868.
