Seven medals in Jonquière

Eleven judo competitors from Dojo Perrot Shima in Île-Perrot made the trip to Jonquière in spite of a snowstorm for a judo selection tournament to go to the Canadian Championship – seven made it on the podium. Also present at this selection was 2020 Canadian Elite 8 Champion Myriam Brazeau who because of injuries and the snow storm ended up with no competitors. She still remains first in the province.
