On Monday, February 17 the Hudson Film Society presents ‘The Last Black Man in San Francisco,’ a love letter to that charming city by the sea. It is a true indie film, filled with quirky and whimsical moments, but it still addresses serious issues such as the gentrification of a city where lower and middle class people are suddenly displaced. Beautifully filmed with stunning photography, it also features an excellent cast and top-notch writing that make this a must-see film. Showings are at the Hudson Village Theater, 28 Wharf Road, at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Admission is $12 for non-members.
