Up for adoption

Bolo, a 3 ½-year-old male hound, and four of his friends recently made the long trip from Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans. He arrived there as a young pup, and went through a rambunctious adolescence to become the sweet boy he is now. Bolo is a little fretful, especially in his cage, but once he is settled in his new home, he'll calm down and gain some weight.

Being a hound, he needs long walks in places with interesting smells, and a fenced yard. He's happiest around people, so a home where he isn't alone all day would be best. He gets along with other dogs and would be happy to share his home with a four-legged brother or sister who could show him the ropes. Bringing him to obedience classes would build his confidence and teach him to walk on leash. If you thing you're the one to give this sweet boy his first and only forever home, fill out the form and ask for Bolo.
