Christmas Craft Fair Season

So many to mention, here's a list of some of the wonderful local events in our region...

The annual Christmas Craft Fair takes place at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre, 394 Main Road in Hudson featuring local artisans along with a café and raffle. This event is also a fundraiser for Le Nichoir Bird Conservation Centre. Join us November 23 and 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

St. James Church Christmas Bazaar is happening November 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. offering fresh handmade wreaths, attic treasures, bake table, silent auction, books, children’s table, handmade ornaments and a raffle for a hand-hooked Nova Scotia rug. Pass by the coffee/tea room and soup kitchen. Join us at 642 Main Road, Hudson. For more info call Margaret Lagimodiere at (514) 781-5611.

A Christmas Bazaar is being held November 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church of St. John the Baptist, 233 Sainte-Claire Avenue in Pointe-Claire. Come peruse the baking, books, vintage dishes and silver. Also jewellery, handicrafts, Christmas Decorations, and children's table. Muffins, coffee and a light lunch will be offered.

The fourth annual Christmas Market takes place December 7 – 8 with 45 exhibitors offering locally made objects and gifts, also features holiday décor and music, food products, and various activities including a show and story time for children. Join us at 1301 rue du Bois in Saint-Lazare from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More info at ville.saint-lazare.qc.ca/en/marchedenoel.

Christmas Bazaar/Craft Event takes place Saturday December 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 490 rue Chicoine in Vaudreuil-Dorion featuring many assorted handcrafted items including evergreen wreaths, artisan wood crafts and knits, Christmas decor, attic finds, gift baskets, preserves, baked goods and much more.

The 38th annual Christmas Craft Fair is taking place in Santa’s favourite place – Vankleek Hill Village, Ontario November 22 to 24 in two fantastic locations featuring locally handcrafted items. New this year – Creating Centre at the Main Village Intersection, 11 High Street, Highway 34 and the VKH Community Centre, 36 Mill Street, from Highway 417, Exits 17 & 27. Free admission with a donation to the VKH Food Bank.
