Christmas Home Tour

The Christmas trees and greenery are ordered and the spirit will be present in Vankleek Hill during the annual Christmas Home Tour, taking place Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year’s event features six beautiful heritage homes on the self-guided tour. A different decorator brings her special flair to each historic home.

Four churches are organizing luncheons, a quilt show, a miniature village display, artisans will be selling their wares at homes and along the town’s Main Street and carolers will add to the day. There are many spots to enjoy a meal, from our restaurants to the special organized lunches. Get a souvenir by having your picture taken in a heritage setting by photographer Jan Amell. Don capes and bonnets for a Victorian look! There will be a $5 charge for the photo – half the proceeds will be donated to a local cause.

Four shuttle buses run continuously to take visitors to the homes and luncheon locations. This event is organized by The Review, and shares proceeds with six community organizations, which provide volunteers to the event.

To purchase $22 advance tickets (or online), to view the houses, luncheon and high tea information and more, visit www.vankleekhill.ca/HomeTour. For more info contact Louise Sproule at (613) 678-3327, Ext.1006 or info@vankleekhill.ca.
