SQ seek public’s help in finding two home invasion suspects

Police officers and investigators from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) Major Crime Investigation Department set up a mobile command post at the corner of 6th Avenue and 4th Street in L’Île-Perrot on October 15 as part of their ongoing investigation into a home invasion that occurred nearby on 8th Avenue in early August of this year.

Motorists were stopped at the intersection by the SQ officers and shown a composite sketch of one of two individuals who took part in the violent home invasion and robbery at around 2 a.m. on August 4. Two occupants of a house were assaulted and robbed by the two assailants.

One suspect is described as a white male, around 18 and 20 years old, between 5-feet, 8-inches and 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighing about 175 to 180 pounds. He has light brown hair and pale-coloured eyes, wore a dark hoodie and speaks French. A description of the second suspect is not available.
