Dr. H.A. Short, local Earth Scientist and Climate Educator will present ‘The Climate Crisis 101’ at the Saint-Lazare Community Centre, 1301 Rue du Bois on October 17 at 7 p.m. The presentation will cover the scientific basis, the psychology of inaction, what to expect in our lifetimes, and (most importantly!) what to do about it. The talk will be followed by roundtable discussions to brainstorm about solutions. This presentation aims to cover everything you ever wanted to know about climate change, but were afraid to ask. This is a repeat of the talk given August 12 and September 16 in Hudson. If you saw the talk then, invite a friend or show up for the second part at 8:15 p.m. (Please do not come to the second part if you have not attended the lecture). The talk is sponsored by the Hudson Food Collective. Admission is free.
