Liberal campaign office launch

It was a dynamic mix of past, present and future as incumbent Liberal Member of Parliament for Vaudreuil-Soulanges Peter Schiefke (second from left) officially opened his campaign office in Île-Perrot on Saturday, September 14.
Assisted by Honorary Campaign Chair and former Liberal Cabinet Minister Marc Lalonde (left), Schiefke was also joined by Salaberry-Suroît Liberal candidate Marc Faubert and Liberal MP for Lac-Saint-Louis Francis Scarpaleggia along with a full house of supporters.
Though his election campaign headquarters has to be separate from the constituency office, according to the law, it’s still business as usual.
“I really want to stress that I continue to function as an MP and I still have a constituency office on Blvd. Saint-Charles in Vaudreuil-Dorion,” Schiefke told The Journal. “We have a team member working full time at that office to provide the services I would normally provide as an MP.”
Schiefke’s launch address emphasized the need to keep moving forward, building upon work the party has accomplished in the last four years.
