Welcome to another long weekend in beautiful Vaudreuil-Soulanges and though the weather may be unpredictable, hey, we still have to eat!
Our MP Peter Schiefke will be hosting a free pancake breakfast Saturday, June 29 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Terrasse-Vaudreuil Community Centre. Reservations are required so please email Peter.Schiefke@parl.gc.ca or call (450) 510-2305 if you’d like to take part.
The Town of Hudson knows how to throw a party and will be fêting Canada Day in grand style.
The fun begins Monday, July 1 at 4 p.m. with games and activities for youngsters including, of course, food. Songstress Isabelle Young performs at 5 p.m. and the official Canada Day ceremonies with the anthem, flag, and cake begin at 6 p.m. Big J & the AllStarz will keep the party hopping starting at 7:30 p.m. and the day will be capped with a fireworks display at 10 p.m.
Saint-Lazare, still partying strong after last weekend’s Fête nationale, has midway rides up until June 30. Tickets are available for purchase online. June 30 will feature Freddie James Project in concert along with fireworks and more music with a cash bar.
On July 1, the fun starts at noon so be sure to bring your swimsuit and take advantage of the many activities being offered. Where else can you enjoy a circus workshop, zip-line, archaeology workshop and tiny train rides, just to name a few?
Happy Canada Day!
