Beeswax food wrap workshop

The Hudson Food Collective (HFC) is hosting a free workshop on making Reusable Beeswax Food Wraps April 18, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Community Centre, 394 Main Road, lower level. In this 90 minute workshop, learn how to make reusable food cloth wraps from recycled fabrics and beeswax. These wraps can replace aluminum foil, plastic wrap and Ziplocs in your daily kitchen activities. Each participant will go home with their very own wrap and the knowledge to make their own. The workshop will be followed by a potluck dinner to accompany the HFC’s Annual General Meeting. We invite you to bring a plate and stay for the evening. The AGM will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Please join us to find out more about our mission, goals, projects and events. Those who joined as members in 2018 can vote – everyone is welcome to attend, participate, and contribute ideas. We are hoping to ‘widen the circle’ in 2019 – come and find out how to participate.
