Hudson Film Festival

The fourth edition of the Hudson Film Festival (HFF) will be held February 27 to March 3 and screen 11 films, including its Gala Opening of ‘You Are Here: A Come From Away Story’ about 9/11 and how Gander, Newfoundland rallied on that fateful day. Special guest will be then-Gander Mayor Claude Elliott with a Q & A following each screening. Showcasing the best in Canadian cinema, the festival will also offer Hochelaga: Land of Souls, Anthropocene, a tribute night in honour of the late Ben McKinnon, local filmmaker Kyle Gregor-Pearse’s Death of a Travelling Life Insurance Salesman and much more. Screened at Hudson Village Theatre (28 Wharf Road), HFF passes are on sale now – a great value at $50 for five films. Choose any of the films (regular price $15) including Gala Opening ($25) for only $50. Purchase of two passes includes 11th film for free.
