The Town of Saint-Lazare would like to thank Héma-Québec as well as blood donors and volunteers who took part in the first blood drive of the year, held at the Community Centre on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. If you consider that every blood donation can potentially help up to four people, a total of 500 patients will be able to receive those precious units of blood product. Thanks to the 125 people who braved the cold and rolled up their sleeves to donate.

Héma-Québec’s mission is to efficiently meet the needs of the Quebec population for quality blood and blood derivatives, human tissue, cord blood, breast milk and safe cellular products of optimum quality; develop and offer expertise as well as specialized, innovative services in the field of human biological products.
