Field, Forest, Sea & Sky

Maggie Dean and her daughter Wendy Tillett are pleased to present a collection of their paintings, stained glass, and boutique articles for the month of February at the Arbor Gallery (36 Home Avenue) in the charming little town of Vankleek Hill, Ontario.

The exhibit is titled Field, Forest, Sea & Sky by Maggie Dean & Wendy Tillett.

Wendy’s paintings reflect the changing world and the perils her subjects find themselves in these days. Through her paintings, she is raising awareness for the need for change in the way we treat the creatures in our care. Maggie has always loved to paint barns and now finds that a lot of her good old landmarks are disappearing to the ravages of time and ‘progress.’

The vernissage is Saturday, February 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. The show dates are from January 30 to March 3, every Wednesday to Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Maggie Dean will be donating 10 per cent from her net sales to the Friends of the Feral Cats in Hawkesbury, a charitable organization that traps, neuters and releases (TNR) feral cats. Wendy Tillett will be donating 10 per cent of her net sales to World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Canada, one of her favourite charities.
