Stallions bring home two championship cups

This past weekend, November 3 and 4, saw three teams representing Saint-Lazare in Provincial Championship games at Stade Hébert in Saint-Léonard.

On Friday night, November 2 the Stallions Midget team went up against the Châteauguay Raiders for the third consecutive year in a row for the Jack Simpson Championship. The Raiders won 25-7.

On Saturday, November 3, the undefeated Stallions Mosquito team which racked up over 450 points for, and only 12 against, in the regular season and who were also crowned MRFL (Montreal Regional Football League) Champions last weekend, went up against the Saint-Hubert Rebels and proved to Quebec that the Stallions are not to be taken lightly.

The Stallions proved the Rebels were no match by destroying them by a score of 54-7. The Stallions are the Quebec Provincial Champions for the 2018 season.

For the first time in Mosquito football, there will be an Inter-Provincial Championship Cup vs. Eastern Ontario. The Mosquito Stallions will be playing this Saturday, November 10 at 11a.m. at Stade Hébert in Saint-Léonard.against the Napean Eagles to see who will be crowned the first Eastern Canadian Mosquito Inter-Provincial Champions.

Also last Saturday saw our Saint-Lazare Stallions Bantam team fight to defend their 2017 President Cup Championship and they did by defeating the Saint-Laurent Spartans by a score of 8-6 in a hard fought battle.

The Bantam Stallions are the 2018 President Cup Champions.
