The Oka – Hudson ferry should be treated like all the thousands of ferries in the country.
If there is no room, even to park, the traffic must move on. Tickets should be issued to those defying the law and parking illegally.
It takes the same amount of time to drive around the river as it does to cross it. The police should not be moderating the situation except to issue tickets to traffic disobeying the ‘No Stop’ signs on the road. What is the problem with this easy solution?
