Tears for Thompson Park

Dear Editor,

It is with great sadness I look upon the neglect of Thompson Park this year in the West End of Hudson. David Aird, when he was Mayor of Hudson Heights, bought that tract of waterfront from William Thompson who just lived down the road, for a nominal sum. It has been the scene of many town activities since the 1960s. Surely it deserves to have the grass cut more often and the sides trimmed. It must be tick haven now.
