Philip is home
Dear Editor and Tara,
With a lot of joy in our heart we would like to let you know that thanks to your help our Philip is back home.
We had a very positive response to the ad you helped us placed in The Journal March 22.
Philip must have been terrified by something and was hiding well for the first two weeks of his adventure, since nobody noticed him. Then a few days after the ad was published we started receiving calls from people reporting spotting him. He was coming closer and closer to home but was still very spooked. We were feeding him outside of our front door but did not try to catch him. The slightest movement and he ran away. Finally last week, we got him in.
He is in a fairly good condition but very thin, infested with tick and fleas (already taken care of ) and in need of a lot of caresses.
Since we had such a heartwarming response we would love to express our sincere gratitude to all who helped us in getting him back.
