Knuckle draggers

Dear Editor,

The Town of Hudson has done an outstanding job constructing the dog park on Main Road opposite Thompson Park. The fences are strong, the two separate runs are of good size for large and small dogs, access is easy, and there are benches for the humans to sit on – there’s even a container dispensing doggy-doo bags at the entrance.

Most people respect the park and pick up after their canine pals; however, there are still a few troglodytes who either can’t be bothered or who consider themselves above such a menial task.

I saw the epitome of this sort of low-life ignorance and indifference last week when one of these sub-humans had allowed (or maybe encouraged) his large dog to poop on one of the people benches . . . and then leave it there for posterity instead of picking it up and putting it in the bins provided.

Maybe I’m wrong in bringing this to light – these folks have very low self-esteem and thrive on attention.

Congratulations knuckle dragger,

Nelson Wells
