January blood drive in Saint-Lazare: Thank you to our 139 donors!

The Town of Saint-Lazare would like to thank Héma-Québec as well as the blood donors and volunteers who took part in the first blood drive of the year, held at the Community Centre on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. If you consider that every blood donation can potentially help up to four people, a total of 556 patients will be able to receive blood products thanks to the 139 people who braved the storm and rolled up their sleeves to donate.
Note that Héma-Québec’s mission is to efficiently meet the needs of the Quebec population for quality blood and blood derivatives, human tissue, cord blood, breast milk and safe cellular products of optimum quality; develop and offer expertise as well as specialized, innovative services in the field of human biological products.
