Gymini up and running

The Gymnastics Club Gymini, located at the Vaudreuil-Dorion Multisports Center, has officially opened its facilities ranging from 8000 to 15,000 square feet.

These new facilities will allow the Club to offer recreational gymnastics classes, with all the equipment and space necessary to expand and diversify its programming. "Today we are in a magnificent gymnasium that will welcome nearly 1,500 children a week in acrobatic sports of all kinds: artistic and acrobatic gymnastics, cheerleading, circus, tumbling and parkour," said Valérie Villeneuve, General Manager.

Gym ... and much more!

It’s well known that Gymini Gymnastics Club is a non-profit organization that trains high-level athletes on the regional, provincial and national scene, but did you know that it also offers motor development courses for children aged just 1 year? In the gymnasiums of the club, children aged 1 year and older can have fun and discover acrobatic sports. The courses offered are divided into several areas: motor development, women's artistic gymnastics, male artistic gymnastics, cheerleading, circus arts, aerial creek, tumbling, parkour and acrobatic gymnastics. At Gymini, there are even classes for adults.

Specialized equipment

The new spaces are filled with an impressive array of specialized equipment of all kinds. New cheerleading equipment will allow the G-Force to train in the best possible conditions. The addition of a 60-foot-long trampoline (Tumbl Trak) will allow gymnasts, cheerleaders, and tumblers to develop their gym movements safely by limiting the risk of stress-related injuries to the joints.

A well-filled organization in Vaudreuil-Soulanges

The Club has been operating in Vaudreuil-Soulanges since 1978. Its approach, which combines pride, courage, trust and respect, has evolved from a club of two coaches to an administrative team of six and more than 40 coaches. The Club is involved in promoting the healthy lifestyles of the population of Vaudreuil-Soulanges by getting more than 4,000 children a year moving.
