Help shape the future of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence

It has already been seven years since the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence (VSPCR) opened its doors. More than 1,150 patients and their families were welcomed to receive specialized care and support enabling them to live their last days to the fullest. The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation Board of Directors is seizing this opportunity to launch a strategic planning exercise that will allow it to review its vision for the next three to five years. "The Residence is at a pivotal point between the past and the future, our future, explains Executive Director Jacinthe Demers. This is a good time to begin a consultation process that will feed into our strategic plan. " Over the next few months, the public, donors, partners, staff and volunteers can expect to be consulted to assist the Foundation in shaping the future of the Residence. "Consultations are a way for us to recognize our builders, that is, each person that has contributed to the Residence. The commitment, collaboration and support of the community have allowed us to create and develop this beautiful and great collective project. This success, this achievement, has been possible TOGETHER and it is also together that we must orient our actions for the next years" adds Mrs. Demers. The objective is to finalize the planning by the next General Assembly in June of 2018.

The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation (VSPCRF) supports the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation which, since September 2010, offers specialized palliative care free of charge with respect and dignity to individuals of all ages (children, teenagers, adults) who have a terminal-phase illness.
