Excellent news for the Foundation

Madame Lucie Charlebois, Minister for Rehabilitation, Youth Protection and Public Health and Minister of National Assembly for Soulanges has announced that she has chosen the Bryan Liew Race as the event that she will sponsor within the 2017 provincial Défi Santé initiative. As Public Health Minister, Mme Charlebois has invited each and every provincial MNA to sponsor an event in their own communities in order to promote healthy living practices. “We are honoured that our race has been chosen” says Patrick Lepage, co-race director with Claudia Wagner. “As well as providing additional visibility, our race will certainly gain popularity and I am sure that this will positively influence the number of registrations”.

Combining efforts with new partners

The Bryan Liew Foundation has recently joined efforts with new regional partners, working as well on the project to have a synthetic athletic track for the region. Mr. Jean-Pierre Champagne, a well-known volunteer, and Mr. Claude David, head coach and founder of Club d’Athletisme Vaudreuil-Dorion, had initiated discussions with the city of Vaudreuil as well as the Trois-Lacs School Commision on the subject of an track and field installation. An important meeting took place last May 29th in the offices of the Commission with the regional committee and the newly created consortium to promote and move this important project forward.
