New date established for the Bourassa Boyer Walk!

The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation (VSPCRF) invites you on Sunday, September 24, 2017, for the sixth edition of the Bourassa Boyer Walk, that was suspended due to the floods that ravaged some municipalities last spring. Come and walk with us and recharge your spirits at the Maison-Valois Park in Vaudreuil-Dorion!

Program

A shuttle is planned to take you to the Bourassa Boyer Walk site from the reserved parking at the Cité-des-Jeunes high school (400, Saint-Charles ave, Vaudreuil-Dorion, J7V 6B1). Registration begins at 8:00 am and the Bourassa Boyer Walk begins at 10:00 am. In addition to having the opportunity to walk on either 3, 5 or 7 km circuits, participants will have a variety of activities and free kiosks to explore. Young and old alike will find several activities to recharge and enjoy.

Face painting by Production Mackéo, and a bow and arrow challenge organized by Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima are some of the activities that will be offered all morning. The first walkers to return will be greeted by Heleen Couvrette from H-OM Yoga who will lead a relaxation segment to the negro spiritual vocals of Chœur Chants de Coton. Véronique Berlinguette of Cardio Plein Air and Sherry Owen of Action Sport Physio will get the crowd moving with unique physical activity workshops. We are also pleased to announce that the musical atmosphere will be provided by the group Flirt and Sonorisation André Chartrand. A very special activity is planned with a giant ball right before announcing the funds raised. A fun filled gathering not to be missed!

There will be a variety of food and beverages being sold on site. Coffees and hot chocolate from Cafexo, apples and bananas from Serres Vaudreuil, and hot dogs prepared by the team of the Chevalier de Colomb, District 47. All this will be offered at a nominal price to help the Foundation raise funds and walkers will receive water bottles thanks to Jean Coutu Pharmacy on Saint-Charles ave in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
