On Thursday, August 10, 2017, the closing evening celebrating the artists who participated in the Sentier des arts event was held at the Saint-Lazare Library. The exhibition featured the works of artists who participated in the live art experience on July 8 and 9 as part of the activities of the Saint-Lazare Au Galop Festival.

The works, created by local artists including Francine Bertrand, Michel Dufour, Nicole Kreutz, Manon Labelle, Gisèle Lapalme, Hélène Latour, Christiane Séguin, Shernya Vininsky and Pauline Vohl have been displayed as part of an exhibit at the Saint-Lazare Library since July 10. Representing horses in every shape and form, these artistic creations were enjoyed by countless art lovers attending the closing evening in the company of the participating artists.

To wrap up the evening’s celebrations, five works of art were selected among all of those produced, to be exhibited in the Town’s various buildings and facilities. The Mayor, Mr. Robert Grimaudo, had the honour of handing out the awards to the five winning artists in the presence of the event participants, their families and the many art lovers on hand.

Congratulations go out to Ms. Shernya Vininsky (Mixed media), Nicole Kreutz (Painting on wood), Manon Labelle (oil on canvas), Gisèle Lapalme (Watercolour) and Hélène Latour (Oil on canvas) for their magnificent creations.

Thank you to the many artists and guests who attended the event!
