Counsellors recognized for their energy and enthusiasm

As part of Summer Camp Counsellor’s Day on July 26, 2017, the Town of Saint-Lazare unveiled a commemorative plaque bearing the name of summer camp counsellors honoured for 4 consecutive years of service.

This year’s laureates are:Babouin (Gabriel Delarosbil), Clochette (Claudelle Villeneuve), Crash (Zachary Oskrdal), Elsa (Catherine Méthot), Luna (Mélissa Laprise), Sonic (Sébastien Boudreau), Tempo (Camille Taillefer), Tweety (Mélanie Gagné), Zumba (Mélissa Lefebvre). For the opportunity, the representatives of the City also underlined the implication of the «vétérante» Pirouline (Joëlle Delarosbil) with eight years worked in summer camp.

Summer Camp Counsellor’s Day is held once a year in the middle of summer. The objective of this special day is to recognize young summer camp counsellors for their remarkable work. It also serves to spotlight the importance of day camps, specifically in terms of their contribution to helping its users ensure work/family balance during the summer season.
