A carwash fundraiser using an eco-friendly product will be held in Pincourt July 22. Proceeds raised go towards research for treatment of Multiple Sclerosis.
For several years, the bike team Les Amis de Lise (regional group working against Multiple Sclerosis) has been organizing regional events to raise public awareness and money to counter the disease, pedaling hundreds of kilometres (Bike MS) to contribute to the financing of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Scotiabank, the principal sponsor, is matching donations that will be raised. Since its creation, the team has raised more than $244,245.59 for MS. An eco-friendly car-wash fundraiser (we use SuperShine, a product without water to clean and wax the car) will be held July 22 (raindate Sunday, July 23), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at ScotiaBank, 1400 Boul. du Traversier. The cost per vehicle is $20 to cover the expenses of the eco-product. Beyond having your car ecologically treated for a social cause, kids can enjoy the Spider-Man inflatable game, face-painting, and onsite mascots.
