Palliative Care draw winners announced

Together with its sponsors, staff and volunteers, the Vaudreuil- Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation (VSPCRF) revealed the names of the winners of the 2017 Draw at the offices of Club Voyages Tourbec-Lapointe in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Grand Prize Winners

Five grand prizes, totalling $12,000, were provided by regional sponsors:

  • 1st prize: $5,000 in gift certificates offered by the IGAs of the region, won by R. Villeneuve from Les Cèdres with ticket 06949.

  • 2nd prize: $2,500 vacation credit offered by Club Voyages Tourbec-Lapointe, won by Jeanine Leduc from Vaudreuil-Dorion with ticket 06999.

  • 3rd prize: $2,000 in gift certificates offered by Club Piscine Super Fitness in Vaudreuil-Dorion, won by Josée Clément from Vaudreuil-Dorion with ticket 07957.

  • 4th prize: $1,500 in gift certificates offered by the four Jean Coutu pharmacies of the region, won by Jenny Smith from Les Cèdres with ticket 10551.

  • 5th prize: a laptop and a starter kit including accessories offered by PC-TECK Informatique, valued at $1,000, won by Jean St-Denis from Saint-Clet with ticket 06316.

Funds raised will go a long way to help the Residence

The efforts over the past few months have paid off since close to $30,000 were raised through the sale of 7,048 tickets.

These funds will go towards financing certain projects like the installation of access ramps for people with reduced mobility and whose strength is weakened, the replacement of specialized equipment, landscaping and access to the outdoors or producing videos to raise awareness about the cause.

The Foundation congratulates the winners and thanks the generous sponsors, the network of ticket sellers and volunteers as well as everyone who participated in the Draw.

Winners can claim their prize before 5PM on July 14, 2017 at the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence located 90, Como Gardens (Hudson).
