Snow business
Dear Editor,
This may seem like a trivial complaint but considering I once had my windshield smashed by a load of snow and ice that flew off of a car in front of me, blinding my ability to see the road ahead for at least four or five seconds, I think this subject needs to be addressed.
I often see people driving with snow-covered windows and way too much snow on their roofs. This is especially dangerous after a bout of freezing rain where the entire roof load can fly off in one piece once the inside of their vehicle heats up.
Dirty or snow covered illegible license plates seem to be another pattern of lazy, inattentive drivers who fail to do a safety walk around. And don’t tell me they get that filthy in one day – it’s often weeks of accumulation.
If the police want easy ticketing, they’re out there by the hundreds.
Go for it. Easy pickings and they deserve it.
