The Town of Hudson is pleased to announce that the off-leash dog park on Main Road will have its official opening Saturday, October 15 at 1 p.m. The opening will be celebrated with treats for dogs, provided by Penny Petz, and the planting of a Weeping Willow tree which will provide a large canopy of shade in the summer months.

The dog park is situated on Main Road, opposite from Thompson Park. With abundant parking and a picture-perfect view of the Lake of Two Mountains, this park is sure to become a favourite among Hudson residents. Located on the west side of town, the park boasts a newly-constructed fence, a separate space for small dogs, as well as different obstacles for the dogs to play in, over, and around.

The construction of the park is due to the hard work of the Parks and Recreation team. Thanks also go to resident 'Tracy Gallacher' for her donation of a Lilac tree, which can be enjoyed from one of the benches that have been added to the park.

All two-legged and four-legged guests are welcome at the park for its official opening.
