Letter to the editor 5, July 14, 2016
Dear Editor,
Clouds of scent are among the pleasures of being on the road in Hudson in an open-air vehicle: Lilacs are ubiquitous in spring, baking biscotti sweeten Cameron at Main, and even the occasional skunk can be interesting for a short time.
A personal favourite has been the intersection of Birch Hill at Main Road where spring apple blossoms have been followed by the aroma of the apples baking on the trees in the September sun.
But not this year - the roadside trees have all disappeared.
