"Soirée des Toges" at College Bourget


On June 17, 227 graduating students attended the "Soirée des Toges", at the Ste Madeleine Rigaud church, where several awards were presented. These awards were in addition to other awards already presented at the Gala Meritas for Secondary 5 students. Thanks to the contribution of various individuals and some organizations, scholarships were also awarded to the winners of these awards. Six students won the "Grandes distinctions" awards this year.

Eve-Marie and Ann-Sophie Normand, sisters, (both pictured above) have won each of the award "Fide And Labore Valebo," a $500 value, for their contribution to the influence of the College outside.

The "Pierre Charpentier Exchange", worth $ 2,000, offered by Mireille Charpentier, wife of the late Pierre Charpentier, was attributed to Maxime Francon (pictured above) for excellence to academic levels, school and sports.

The prizee by "Metro Plus Fordham" worth $1,000 was awarded to Raphaella Sassine (pictured above) for her commitment and persistence.

Anna Tran (pictured above) left with the "Medal of the Governor General of Canada," and a $ 500 scholarship, having maintained the best overall average for 5 years at College Bourget.

Benjamin Piché (pictured above) received the "Lieutenant Governor's Award" along with a $500 award for his involvement in the school.
