I believe there is talk on getting water meters for the town of Hudson because of the apparent water shortage we have. I wonder how a water meter is going to solve a lack of water?
If the intention is to charge more for greater use then all you are doing is hurting those that cannot afford it. Besides “no water is no water" regardless of what it costs.
Reminds me of that famous line by a well-known businessman that said he is selling his product at a loss but will make it up through volume.
Hopefully he was kidding but a loss is a loss and paying more for water when there is none doesn't make sense either.
Get the water first and then we'll talk about the cost.
