Grand musical night

On May 31st, the College Bourget presented a beautiful musical evening at the Wilson Pavilion of Coteau-du-Lac. The first part was devoted to popular music with the "Band Stage", including 4th and 5th secondary musicians, and the "Bourget Jazz Band" brought together musicians from 1st to secondary 5th. Spectators were treated to two surprises: A "Love Shack (B52)" performed by singers and musicians of all (Matisse Chan, Caroline Lambert, Karel Sabourin) and a science teacher, Marc-André Viau, who traded his coat for his electric guitar, with the musicians Câline Blues (Offenbach). After the intermission, the stage was completely occupied by the Secondary 4 graduates who performed various musical pieces (symphonic poem medley of popular music, contemporary and even contemplative). The emotion was palpable in these young musicians, because for many it was their last concert with the College Bourget. They also stressed their course in their school by making a tribute to their music teacher and musical director of this concert, Daniel Fortin. The latter said he did the best job in the world!
