Frederik Houle, secondary 4 student at Collège Bourget, received the merit award for engagement in extracurricular activities awarded by the Federation of private educational institutions. This year, the award was given to 29 high school students who have distinguished themselves through their involvement in the life of their school and various extracurricular activities. This award was presented to them at a weekend leadership training, which took place from May 13 to 15 at the Youth resort in the Eastern Townships. This weekend has allowed recipients to network with other young people from different regions of Quebec and who share a sense of responsibility, generosity, dynamism and enthusiasm. Frederik is a dynamic girl, cheerful and positive. She demonstrated charisma and leadership by getting involved in various school activities such as Ministry. She does not hesitate to invest their time to volunteer. Frederik stands out for her ability to combine academic achievement, involvement in the community and sport. She is part of the team of juvenile Flag Football at the school in addition to sports outside of school. Despite its many implications, Frederik also keeps her goal of academic success by maintaining excellent grades. Since 1850, the College Bourget trains young leaders that have a positive impact on their community. Congratulations to Frederik who is part of this tradition of commitment!
