Letter to the editor 3, April 21, 2016

Dear Editor,

I was driving last week on Route Harwood just past the Hudson Shopping Centre when I heard a loud bang followed by what sounded like a large rock rattling around in my rear passenger wheel well. At first I just thought it would dislodge on its own but, as I continued driving, I realized it wasn’t a rock.

My mechanic only needed a few seconds to determine my shock had blown…again! I had replaced it not two months earlier due to the variety of potholes that line the far edge of Route 342. I drive at the speed limit, and I am as careful as one can be on that wretched road.

Which municipality is responsible for the maintenance of that section of Harwood?

Two blown shocks in as many months, fix it already!
