On the 5th and 6th of May, two students of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program will represent the Valleyfield College in the 14th edition of the Québec Skills Competition and technology, the Quebec Exhibition Centre.
Inspired by Olympic sports competitions, the Olympics of trades and technologies enable young Quebecers enrolled in a vocational or technical training program to meet the challenge of skill and become the best in their field. This year, the College de Valleyfield will be represented in two separate categories by the only two representatives of the region, in all disciplines. Joey Miletti, best R rating of the department, is a podium in the category 'Design and computer aided design'. For his part, Cédric Forest hopes to stand out in the discipline "Mechanical Engineering Technology". The students will be accompanied by Jeremiah Barrette, teacher, and Daniel Pinsonneault, program coordinator at Collège de Valleyfield.
The Valleyfield College joins the team of teachers and technicians of the Department of Mechanical Engineering to wish success to Joey Miletti and Cédric Forest.
