Loonies flock to John Abbott College

The John Abbott College campus took on a remarkable look and feel yesterday, raising $15,450 for the Student Assistance Fund in just five hours.
Students and staff jumped into the annual fundraiser, started in 2003, where loonies are stuck to two-sided tape that runs the length of the college – almost 800 feet! Energy and school spirit led the charge to elevate the Loonie Line to an unprecedented success.
Everyone can use some help occasionally and if that means helping a student stay in school, the Assistance Fund at John Abbott is there for them. The Fund is set up to help with groceries, textbooks, registration fees and much more.
