Blood donor clinic in Pincourt

The Pincourt Town Council will hold its annual blood drive on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 1:30 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Omni-Centre (375 Cardinal-Léger Boulevard).

In 2015, 138 people came to give blood at the Omni-Centre. This year, Héma-Québec wishes to reach 135 blood donations.

This blood donor clinic will be the second one hold in Pincourt since the beginning of 2016. On January 7, 115 people went to the blood drive organized by the Pincourt Volunteer Firefighters Association.

In Quebec, a healthy person, aged over 18 and who meet the eligibility criteria, can give blood every 56 days, or six times a year. Those who participated in the blood drive of January 7 are eligible to the one on March 21.

To verify your eligibility to donate blood, you must contact the customer service at 1 800 847-2525 or visit Héma-Quebec’s website at www.hema-quebec.qc.ca.
