Bank robber arrested

Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) officers arrested 34-yearold Mark Steven Vandendool last Tuesday, March 1 at 2:30 p.m. following a robbery he had just committed at a bank in the district of Côte des-Neiges/Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. The suspect was wanted for similar crimes committed in Kirkland, Westmount, Pointe-Claire, Dorval and Ahuntsic. In all, he committed 10 bank robberies between November 2015 and March 2016. The suspect appeared in the Quebec Court earlier this week facing charges of robbery, wearing a disguise and various firearms charges.
