The tournament started the beginning of September and ended on Saturday, September 28 and every year raises money for the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Organized by Andrew and Millie Marren, the ride is a fundraiser in support of the Old Port Bassets - the only pack of Basset Hounds in Canada. Staff at the Ecomuseum Zoo in Ste. Anne de Bellevue are mourning the loss of Juno the black bear who was recently euthanized because of an unexpected illness and permanent paralysis.
