Passing around the hat for a good cause Dear Editor, Recently close to 50 former students gathered in Hudson to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their graduation back in 1969 from Hudson High School. Cost effective? Dear Editor, A supposed couple of the police squad came to my door last week. Their intent was to, “…inspect our house for adequate fire-alarms.” I did not ask for this service and I did not admit them into the house. They seemed to be on foot. If this is a legitimate activity I do not approve of no-doubt exorbitant public expense for these pedestrian wanderers through the day when most houses are vacant anyway. We were on our way home and we were taking Route Harwood from the Whitlock golf club.
